EDP Users

Welcome on the website dedicated to the Permanent Demographic Sample (Echantillon Démographique Permanent - EDP).

The National Institute of Statistic and Economic Studies (Institut National de la Statistique et des Études Économiques - INSEE) has recently added administrative data to the EDP, offering the opportunity to study individual life course. Residential, conjugal, and professional situations can be followed, with some limits associated to the EDP : gaps in some events data collection, different coverage between data sources.

At this time, the most recent study base is dated to 2021.

The website is participative, you can contribute to its enrichment by sending some constructed variables codes, which be reproducted by other users.

This website has been created as a part of Big_Stat project, funded by the French National Research Agency (Agence Nationale de la Recherche - ANR). It lists all the information linked to the EDP use, a database juxtaposing a set of statistical and administrative sources, for a population sample living in France.
